# 9.4 No Fiduciary Relationship

AutonOS is a non-custodial platform. At no point does the AutonOS core team or the DAO take custody of user assets. The relationship between the user and the protocol is purely technical. No fiduciary duty is created or implied. The user retains full responsibility for the deployment and parameters of their agents.
