# 9.1 Technical and Software Risk

The AutonOS protocol involves complex smart contract interactions and experimental "Smart Container" technology. While every effort is made to ensure security through audits and formal verification, software is inherently prone to bugs. Users of AutonOS acknowledge that vulnerabilities in the Kernel, the underlying blockchain (Ethereum), or the integrated dApps (Uniswap, Aave, etc.) could lead to the loss of funds.
